This site sets no cookies, uses no web analytics tool and carries no targeted advertising. The only data collection happens when you voluntarily fill in the quote request form.

Data collected

What you enter

• Name and telephone number — required, as these are what allow us to call you back;
• E-mail address — optional, so we can send you the written proposal;
• Business line concerned and type of request;
• Event date, number of guests and venue — optional, to size the offer;
• Description of your needs.

What the server records

• A fingerprint of your IP address — the address itself is never stored in the clear: only an irreversible cryptographic fingerprint is, in order to cap the number of requests per hour and turn away automated submissions;
• Your browser identifier (user-agent), for the same purpose.

These two items serve solely to protect the form against abuse. They are neither used for commercial purposes nor passed on to third parties, and they do not appear in the messages sent to the team.

Purposes and legal basis

• Answering your quote request — processing necessary to take pre-contractual steps at your request;
• Protecting the form against abuse — TBS's legitimate interest in keeping its site working properly;
• Keeping a record of commercial exchanges — legitimate interest, and compliance with accounting obligations where a hire is actually concluded.

No data is used for unsolicited marketing.

Recipients

Requests are accessible only to the people at TBS Distribution S.A.R.L who handle quotes. They pass through technical providers acting on our instructions:

None to date — no delivery provider is configured

To date, no database and no mail delivery service is connected to the site: a request sent from the form is neither recorded nor forwarded by e-mail. This list will be revised the day either one goes into service. No data is sold, rented or exchanged.

Retention period

What follows describes the processing as it will apply once the database is connected. For as long as it is not, nothing is retained.

Quote requests are kept for 24 months from the last exchange, then anonymised: name, telephone number, e-mail address, venue, description of needs and technical items are erased. All that remains is the business line, the type of request and the dates — statistics with no link to any person.

This anonymisation is automatic: a scheduled job triggers it every night, and it depends on no manual intervention.

Where a hire is concluded, the related accounting records are kept for the statutory period applicable to commercial documents.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over the data concerning you.

To exercise them, write to contact@tbstogo.com or call (+228) 90 10 85 10. You will receive an answer within one month. No justification is required to ask for a quote request to be deleted.

If the answer does not satisfy you, you may refer the matter to the Personal Data Protection Authority (IPDCP), the Togolese supervisory authority. People residing in the European Union may also refer the matter to the supervisory authority of their country of residence.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and sends the usual security headers. Quote requests are stored in a database with restricted access, the IP address appears there only as a fingerprint, and the form is protected against automated submissions.

Cookies and trackers

The site sets no cookies and uses neither local storage nor advertising pixels. No consent banner is needed: there is nothing to consent to.

No analytics tool is in place.

Third-party services

The contact page offers a map supplied by OpenStreetMap. It does not load on its own: nothing is requested from OpenStreetMap until you click “Show the map”. If you do, its servers then receive your IP address and your browser characteristics.

No other third-party resource is loaded: fonts, images and scripts are all served from this site.

Changes

This policy may change, in particular once the technical providers are settled. The date it was last updated appears at the top of the page.
